Suggestions for Uses

  • Try it as cake filling, its a great way to liven up plain yellow cake
  • Glaze for grilled chicken
  • Spread on fresh, warm bread, toast, and crackers
  • Make PB & J sandwiches
  • Use the jelly as the filling of a homemade Mountain Dew pop tarts
  • Make jelly filled donuts and glazed with the jelly
  • Give iced tea a fruit flavor by stirring in 1 to 2 teaspoons jelly
  • Stir a dollop of Jelly into a bowl of oatmeal
  • Sweet and sour sauce, combine 1/2 cup of jelly, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce and 1/2 cup wine vinegar. Simmer 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Instead of duck sauce use this for a condiment with pot-stickers. Or combine with soy sauce for a dipping sauce.
